Step 1: Hang the water heater vertically against a non-flammable surface using the mounting kits provided. Step 2: Attach the shower set to the hot water outlet and connect the water hose to the water inlet. Step 3: Insert 2 size "D" batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, ensuring correct orientation. Step 4: Open the gas valve and turn on the shower head to activate the water heater automatically. Step 5: Perform a gas leakage test by attaching the gas regulator to propane tanks and checking for leaks with soap solutions. Step 6: To prevent freeze damage, open the drain stem and disconnect water lines when not in use.
