Step 2 Water Connection: Attach the shower set (supplied) to the hot water outlet and the water hose to the water inlet. Step 3 Batteries Installation: Insert 2-size "D" (not included) batteries into the battery compartment and make sure the direction of the batteries is correct. Step 4 Temperature Control: Open the gas valve and turn on the shower head, water flows, the water heater turns on automatically. Step 5 Gas Leakage Test: Attach the supplied gas regulator to the propane gas tanks and carefully check for gas leakage by spraying soap solutions on all gas connections. Step 6 Prevent Freeze Damage: Please open the drain stern located at the bottom right of the water heater by turning in a counter-clockwise direction. Please disconnect all incoming and outgoing water lines to ensure proper drainage from the water heater. When not in use, fully disconnect gas, incoming and outgoing water lines. Store in a warm dry place.

What part do you need for the hose attachment for a standard garden hose? A 3/4” female hose adapter is needed for the hose attachment to the heater. There were 2 inputs; use the one for the garden hose.

How can I prevent leaking where the hose attaches to the heater? Use supplied standard hose connection and standard hose rubber washer seals. The supply line is used to connect sinks, washing machines to the water supply. No leaks mean no problems.
